One of the key aspects to emergency preparedness is the ability to provide patient decontamination in response to a Chemical, Biological, Radiological or Nuclear (CBRN) incident. By combining resources, the Partnership has established a robust program consisting of both Fixed and Portable Patient Decontamination Capabilities, to include an 80-person patient decontamination team. Team members serve as “first receivers” outfitted in Level “C” Personal Protective Equipment and participate in monthly training to maximize readiness.
